Machine Embroidery - Monograms

Learn three ways to create monograms with and without embroidery software using the Bernina embroidery module. Monograms are a wonderful way to personalize store-bought items like towels, handkerchiefs, napkins, and so much more. It's also a clever way to "sign your work" when you make something! Your signature can go on a shirt cuff, the inside pocket of a jacket, a tote bag, or on your toiletry bag. 
 

Limited to 3 students (16 yrs of age or older), 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  beginner
  • We provide:  the expertise! workbooks, embroidery thread, stabilizers, and fabric. 
  • You bring:  yourself and your sewing machine if you already have one – don’t forget to bring any bobbins, feet, power cord, the manual & whatever you have that goes with your machine! We do have Bernina embroidery machines available to use in this workshop. You will also need a laptop with Bernina Software already installed to explore creating your own unique monograms.
  • Class length:  2.5 hours
The class is complimentary for owners who have purchased a Bernina from gather here in the last year.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
