Hand Stitched - Dried Orange Ornament

Experience the joy of crafting by hand, then treasure this modern heirloom for years to come. With all pattern pieces screen printed and pre-cut, you can dive straight into the best part: the stitching. In this workshop we'll explore some embroidery stitches to give the ornament texture. 

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level: adventurous beginner - if you've taken Embroidery Basics this is a great next workshop to use those new skills.
  • We provide: the Kiriki Press kit, snips while stitching in the studio, expertise, and enthusiastic support.
  • You bring:  yourself and your love for making things! It's unlikely you will complete your ornament in this single session workshop but the instructor will demonstrate how to neatly finish the ornament.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours
Online participants will:
  • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
